I recently upgraded the copies of mush on our network from 6.0 to 6.5.6. While most people are happy I received to complaints pretty consistently. (1) No more Cc: prompt after sending the message and (2) pressing return in line mode doesn't display the next message any more. Personally, I use curses mode anyway and not having the Cc doesn't bother me any more since I have auto_edit set also. Problem (1) is partly my fault because I made "edit_hdrs" the default in global Mushrc. While most liked to have "edit_hdrs" set, they miss the Cc: prompt more and prefer "unset edit_hdrs". Bart suggested maybe mush could prompt for Cc: at the same time it gets to the To: line. I think this would be fine, but was wondering what others thought of this change? Problem (2), I was surprised but a number of users here use Mush in line mode. Most of them (seems like it) have complained that pressing return to see the next message doesn't work anymore and how can they alias it or set something to fix it? I couldn't figure out a way to make it work in line mode, though it can be done in curses mode (bind \n display-next). Any suggestions? I already told them, type "n" return, but I was wondering if there was a way to make return alone work. --GaryM -- Gary Morris uunet!ucsd!telesoft!garym TeleSoft, San Diego telesoft!garym@ucsd.ucsd.edu (619) 457-2700 garym@crash.cts.com
