[comp.mail.mush] How to create a mail digest

james@roover.wrs.com (James Moore) (05/28/90)

Mush has a command to undigest something already made into a digest, but
does it have a command to create a digest? (If it doesn't, what does
one use to build the things?)

The mush 7.1 distribution as posted to comp.sources.misc contains (or should
anyway, tell me if it doesn't) a file called "digestify" which is a script
and instructions for a cmd alias supported by that script, which will pack
a folder of mail messages into a digest. It doesn't supply the table of
contents or other lead-in information which a recent RFC has described as
the defacto standard, but it creates a digest in the form "undigest" will
expect for later unpacking.
