I just lost yet another message to the 128-character command line limit in DOS. Is there any chance of getting Mush to spawn the mailer multiple times, filling up the command line with as many addresses as possible each time? I first came across this approach in the Unix smail, and it works quite well. In addition, is there any hope of adding a disk-swapping spawn() to Mush? Right now, smail just barely fits into memory with Mush. With a swapping version, it should even be possible to port Deliver 2.0 to DOS to provide a extremely capable mail environment. Obligatory Plug for smail/PC: smail/PC is a port of the Unix smail2.5 smart mailer to MS-DOS. It replaces the mailer.exe and uuio.exe programs of Mush-PC, providing full multiple-host support, smart routing, and other features. smail/PC is free, and is available by mail from SIMTEL20, wuarchive.wustl.edu, and by mail to sct@seldon.clv.oh.us -- Stephen Trier Case Western Reserve University Work: trier@cwlim.ins.cwru.edu Information Network Services Home: sct@seldon.clv.oh.us
