I've noticed a bug in mush 7.2.2, so I started perusing this group to see if there was any mention of it. I haven't seen it, but I haven't been looking long either, so feel free to flame me if this has been brought up before. I've seen this happen on occasion; it's sporadic, so I don't know how to reliably reproduce it. The symptoms are this: When you bring up mush, and there are > 1 messages, the first message will occasionally get duplicated into the second message; eg, message 1 and message 2 are identical. If you 'x' out of mush and bring it back up again, everything is OK, which means it's not the mail spool file which is munged, but Mush's idea of what's in it. My environment is this: Ultrix 4.1 Rev 52 running Mush 7.2.2. I run 'screen', which gives me virtual consoles, and in one of them I run a program (script) which waits for something to appear in my spool file, then brings up mush. I suspect the problem occurs when mush is started with only one message in the file, but others come in before I start reading. I will see if I can confirm this. -- kral * 408/647-6112 * ...!uunet!drivax!braun * braun@dri.com Whoever is calm and sensible is insane -- Rumi
