I have recently moved from mush 7.1 to 7.2 (patchlevel 2, I guess), on fts1. This is an Interactive 386/ix system running 2.2. It seems that it now has job control, although I can't say how well job control is integrated into the system. (At first, I thought they had simply used the shell layers crap. Now I'm not so sure...) Anyway, SIGCONT *IS* defined on this system, but I'm not exactly sure how mush is reacting to it. Mush gets lines in cbreak mode even when it is in command line mode if I'm not mistaken. (I always invoke it with -e, btw) Occasionally, (repeately in the last day or so), I've hit ^Z (my 'swtch' character -- one reason I'm leery about this job control support). Well --- things didn't exactly suspend. I got into a mode where my characters echoed, but there didn't seem to be anything on the other end. ^C, ^B (and ^Z) were not terribly usefull. Worse, hanging up (I'm remote) didn't seem to help either. Has anyone tried this combination before? (mush 7.2, ICS job control?) I think I'm going to -USIGCONT and recompile mush to see what happens... -- :!mcr!: | The postmaster never | So much mail, Michael Richardson | resolves twice. | so little time.
