[comp.soft-sys.andrew] Sun.system.h for SPARCstation 1

tom@ICASE.EDU (Tom Crockett) (09/28/89)

Doe anybody know what should be in andrew/config/Sun.system.h when
building the R3 distribution of Andrew on a SPARCstation 1 under SunOS
4.0.3? Should I just leave it alone, or should I redefine things to
reflect the Sun 4/4.0 environment? Has anyone besides Bill Janssen
built Andrew successfully with this configuration? I've been following
Bill's very helpful suggestions, but so far have not had much success.
I can get "make World" to build cleanly, but when I try to run the
Andrew clients (console, ez, messages, etc.), they usually core dump
with an "Illegal instruction" exception. Also, cwm complains about not
being able to open the display, even though the DISPLAY environment
variable is correct.
