While I agree that for the most part a car posted for sale on the net may not interest the entire net all the time I can think of a few occasions where it might. For example I am presently trying to arange the purchase of a rust free 1965 Pontiac Catalina I located in California. Since I like this car very much and have been looking for a Catalina 2+2 for some time I felt it would be best to get one that won't already be rusted away. (cars of that vintage in the northeast have long since returned to iron ore) Therefore if someone had a car of interest for sale there may be someone out there who wants it. I'll bet most of you would not consider the 65 Catalina 2+2 as terribly noteworthy but it is one of those things I would like to have and can afford. (I would really like a Ferrari or Porsche but the models I want are out of reach!) Another time such an ad may be of interest is when someone is being transferred across the country for a few months for whatever reason. It might be nice to pick up a $300 special which could be sold upon your return. Keith Bauer Bell labs Murray Hill White Tiger Racing
