It's actually a rather nice learned motion, available (so far as I know, and since I'm neither the originator of this complaint nor a shift-select fanatic, that's not very far) in Xerox ViewPoint and Interlisp-D. We here at PARC have only two keyboard types to worry about, Sun Type-3 and Type-4, for Andrew.
