[net.auto] Accord Water pump

A friend of mine has a 1980 Accord.  The water pump just went out.  
Another friend of mine has a 1979 Accord.  It's making funny noises,
and he's pretty sure it's the water pump giving out.  Have any of
you Honda owners run into this problem?  Both of my friends had about
30,000 miles on their cars, andtake good care of them in maintenance
and driving.
