I think it uses the phrase to differentiate between bboards that live
under your home directory and those that don't, but that you have
write-access to.  Is it a meaningful distinction?  Maybe not.  Maybe it
should look at the owner.  The difference makes a little more sense,
maybe, on an AFS system, where the owner might always be "postman" but
lots of administrators might have write-access.
