[net.auto] Recharging MacPHERSON Struts.

I've got a '78 scirocco, and I suggest that you spend a little money
and do your struts right. I've got bilstein struts and highly reccomend
them for good handling. They are guaranteed forever, so you won't ever
need to replace them. Spend the money now instead of wasting it over
and over reworking old struts. Also be certain to replace the nylon
bushings in the strut cylinders, and check the rubber mounting components
at the top of the strut tower to be certain that they do not have cracks.
Depending on your driving preference, you will like the normal ride given
by the standard bilstein struts, or the extra firm ride from the sport
setting bilsteins. Also a note on the guarantee. I had to replace one
of my bilstein struts because it was sticking. After hagling with the
distributor for a while, I got 2 new struts, and 2 new rear shocks even
though they were all 3 years old, and the car had 120,000 miles on it.
I explained to him that since they were all installed at the same time
and had the same wear on them, The car would not handle right with one
new shock, also I expected that the others might go bad at any time
an wanted my car fixed for good.
