[comp.sw.components] More Information on Object-Oriented Documentation

eberard@ajpo.sei.cmu.edu (Edward Berard) (06/08/89)

Folks,

I have received quite a number of requests for more information on
"Object and Class Specifications" (OCS). While OCSs have been in use
(and maturing) for the past three years, I have not yet had the time
to publish any articles on the subject. However, I can provide the
following:

	1. One or two sample OCSs, each about seven pages in length,
	   and

	2. A copy of a set of slides from a short presentation on
object-oriented approaches to the software life-cycle. In
addition to providing more information on the construction
of OCSs, these slides also briefly discuss Object-Oriented
	   Domain Analysis (OODA), Object-Oriented Requirements
Analysis (OORA), and Object-Oriented Design (OOD). There
	   are about 85 slides.

In addition to the sheer bulk of the material, there is also a good
deal of graphics. Therefore, I would prefer to send this information
out via "snail mail." If you would like a copy, please send me your
postal mailing address.

I will be in Europe next week, so I will not be able to mail anything
until June 19. Phone calls are welcome.
