In reference to the 55MPH limit: I'm not sure whether 55 is a federal law or not; I believe it was originally a 'suggestion', which the states were supposed to follow up on. In any case, enforcement rests entirely on the states; they may chose between enforcing 55MPH, or losing large parts of their federal money for highways. Those with budgets in the black are less apt to knuckle under to the feds. ews Tektronix
