X for VxWorks. Unfortunately I cannot remember the following minor details: the vendor's name and whether the implementation was for the client, server or both. Does anyone have the missing details? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Richard Neitzel National Center For Atmospheric Research Box 3000 Boulder, CO 80307-3000 303-497-2057 thor@thor.ucar.edu Torren med sitt skjegg Thor with the beard lokkar borni under sole-vegg calls the children to the sunny wall Gjo'i med sitt shinn Gjo with the pelts jagar borni inn. chases the children in. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Sorry about the repost, mailer ate first line) I seem to recall that at least vendor has (or will soon have) X for VxWorks. Unfortunately I cannot remember the following minor > details: the vendor's name and whether the implementation was for > the client, server or both. The vendor is us, Jupiter Systems. We have developed custom graphics hardware, specially suited to an X server implementation. Our X server runs in the vxWorks environment. It's only server side. It's fast (of course :-), high res (1280x1024) and color (8 bits). Clients running under vxWorks ain't hard...I know of places (other than us) that have done it.
