Here is a summary of what I've been able to find:

At Spider we have written a TCP (and X.25, by the way)which runs in Unix
V.3 streams.  We have also written a 'clean' (no AT&T code) version of
streams as a 'stand-alone' package.  This has enabled us to port it to a
variety of simple exec's, and from what I know of pSOS, the job should
take very little time indeed.

VxWorks can run with VRTX, pSOS or our own kernel (Wind), and is
available for a wide range of VME based 680x0 targets.

Berkeley more-or-less gives away what is may be the
highest quality TCP/IP implementation. The contact there
is Claire LeDonne (415) 643-7201. Terms are liberal. It is
of course designed to work with 4.3BSD, but is said to be
easy to port.

If you are willing to try something different from pSOS, you might want to try
the OS-9 Operating system from Microware Systems Corporation.  They have a
very nice TCP/IP implementation with a Berkeley-style socket interface and
the TCP is based on the Berkeley 4.3-tahoe release.  Very up to date, highly
modular and reconfigurable.  I know, I wrote it ;-).  The MVME-147 was one of
the first two CPU cards we had up with the full TCP/IP/Sockets package.  It
does fit "like a glove".  I believe you may find that OS-9 has a lot of other
advantages over pSOS depending on your application.

I also found some old stuff that came out of MITRE in the early 80's.
It does not come with a LANCE driver and is written for the CMOS kernel.

The VxWorks operating system is available with the pSOS kernel, and includes
TCP/IP, UDP, NFS, RPC, XDR, and lots of other three letter acronyms, all running
over ethernet, proNET, SLIP, and a number of others.  We have a version
specifically for the 147 board (as well as about 50 other boards), so you
just insert the ROMs we send you, and you're off.
