In regard to the article on the 60's autos, I must agree that They don't build them like that anymore! When I get into a car, I like to see a reasonably solid piece of machinery, not a plastic toy like these new cars are. Sure, these new cars may have the racy looks that may sexually excite some people, but I would like to see the condition of these vehicles after a few years of normal wear and tear. I have a suspicion that they are not going to show their age as gracefully. I really enjoy seeing someones face when they try to "outperform" my 68 Cougar. Sure, the new Mustangs might seem to be high performance cars, and as far as some of the technology and engineering that went into them, they are. But I have less than half of what these new cars cost invested into my Cougar, and I have a substantially better car whose performance is considerably better, gas mileage is about the same, and I have more fun working on it since the engine is not grossly cluttered. Long live the classics! Christopher Little/Sytek Inc.
