                        Subject: SOFTWARE QUALITY
				  ----------------

We are graduates students attending Rochester Institute of Technology. Our professor has assigned us the task of determining the state of the practice
and/or the state of the art of software quality and then to report our findings in a comprehensive paper.

Specifically, we are interested in the application of software quality
to the development process and the management of this process. Any experiences, insights or suggestions you have pertaining to our topic would be greatly
appreciated.

As a knowledgable software professional, we are relying on your
expertise to guide us in the right direction. Thank you for your time and
consideration.

Software quality is a buzzword the guys at CMU's Software Engineering
Institute are very concerned with. I have nothing to do with them, but
you might try calling my friend Jeff Stewart at SEI (it's in pittsburgh, PA)
area code 412, and he could point you in the right direction.
Anyone on the net from SEI?
