[comp.realtime] Reliable Real-time Programming Systems.

A.Waterworth@newcastle.ac.uk (A Waterworth) (01/11/90)

I am currently researching into reliable, distributed, real-time programming
systems. As part of this research, I am in the process of reviewing any such
systems which are currently available or under development. Although I already
know of a number of examples, I am always on the lookout for more, so if you
are involved in this field and think that your own favourite system is worth
shouting about, I would be most grateful if you could let me know something
about it. You don't need to give away any secrets - just give me some idea
(in the most general terms) of how the system attempts to deal with real-time
constraints and the associated problems of tolerating faults in a real-time
computing environment.

Finite, but unbounded, amounts of thanks in advance!!

						Adrian.
