Can anyone tell me what they know/think about the real-time operating system FlexOS (for i386 pc's) from DEC? (Might be called FlexDOS, not sure.) I've heard it's supposedly some combination of Unix and VMS. Anyone want to compare it to LynxOS? (Is there LynxOS for i386 pc's?) Thanks.

FlexOS is DRI's real-time operating system for flexible automation (mainly embedded systems, etc). There are versions for Intel 80186, 80286 and 80386. -- Peter Druschel Internet: druschel@cs.arizona.edu Dept of Computer Science University of Arizona Tucson, AZ 85721 USA
