[comp.realtime] Radstone boards

rhodes@grebyn.com (Ned Rhodes) (05/30/90)

I am working on a system that was originally purchased from
Radstone. It is a VME-based system running a 68030 and a 68020. The
030 is used for development and the 020 is running VRTX as we are
developing an embedded application. The unix is a Motorola SVR3 which
appears to have been stripped of all the other shells except for sh and
the help facility.
I am looking to talk to others that have used Radstone equipment
in the hopes of exchanging ideas. My immediate need is to figure out
how to program their 1553 board. If anyone has experience with that
particular board and can provide some sample code, it would be most
helpful.
In addition, I have never been able to get uucp working from
that machine to any other. It gives up during the negotiating phase so
I have used kermit/zmodem to do what I needed to do. Again, if you have
any experience with the Radstone product, please let me know.
	Thanks for the help.
