[comp.realtime] Question on MVME340a parallel interface

Hello,
     I need to install a MVME340a parallel interface/timer module
in our MVME135 68020 system under VxWorks. I would like to use a
centronics type laser scanner with the parallel port.  The input
port works similar to a parallel printer.  Does anyone have
a suggestion on how to do this with as little pain as possible?
It seems to be a common thing to do and possibly it might already
exist ;-)
