[comp.realtime] Macintosh Timer Cards

Hi, we're looking for a Mac II card that could do timing of external
events. The card would have to support receiving an event, storing
the time in a 1-deep buffer, issuing an interrupt, and continuing to
count while the interrupt to read the event time is being serviced.
Preferably it would also have an error bit set if the buffer wasn't
read before another event ocurred and it should interrupt on the
time reaching zero.
In other words, your basic timer card that could easily be built
around a AM9513 chip.
Does anyone know of any BESIDES the one by GW Instruments? (Theirs is
a daughterboard for an expensive A/D D/A card)
Thanks, Mike Mike_Schechter@isr.syr.edu -or- isr@rodan.syr.edu

Strawberry tree makes a board that should do what you want for under
$500. I can send you the information if you like.

Also do you have code to get the beginning of a refresh on a macII
monitor?

Does anyone know of a similar product for VME interface?

 Thanks
