I have to move binaries from my PC to a VME system running PDOS (yeah, I know...) The utility provided with PDOS for reading & Writing floppy disks is utterly unreliable, and I would like to replace it with something better, preferably in C developed under some flavor of Unix that I could port without too much trouble. FORTRAN would be OK too. Maybe even BASIC. Thanks. -- Jeff Carroll carroll@ssc-vax.boeing.com "If it sucks, it sucks because *I wrote it*." - Whoopi Goldberg

It is unclear which utility you are using and I do need to know which hardware you are using in order to tell you which options are viable.
