[comp.realtime] dos floppy utils

carroll@ssc-vax (Jeff Carroll) (03/28/91)

I have to move binaries from my PC to a VME system running PDOS
(yeah, I know...)
The utility provided with PDOS for reading & Writing floppy disks
is utterly unreliable, and I would like to replace it with something better,
preferably in C developed under some flavor of Unix that I could port
without too much trouble.
FORTRAN would be OK too. Maybe even BASIC.
	Thanks.

Jeff,

There are a number of options for moving MSDOS files to PDOS.
It is unclear which utility you are using and I do need to know which
hardware you are using in order to tell you which options are viable.

Please contact me at one of the following:

	Phone:	801-375-2434

I would be more than happy to run through the options with you and also
inform you of source code that we are aware of.
