I have a Honda Accord. Whenever I change between the snow tires and the normal tires the position of the steering wheel changes. (These are front tires, naturally.) The car still tracks a straight line, but the wheel is offset clockwise with the snows on and goes back when the normal tires are put back on. Does anyone know what causes this? The snow tires are a little wider than the others (175 vs. 165). Does this affect anything? I get used to the new steering wheel position right away, but I've just switched over and I'm curious again. Also, the tires are not studded.
