I have found a source of 97 (yes, 97) octane leaded
premium for cars such as mine (72 240z).
There is a small used car dealer in what used to be
an "Awful Bros." gas station at the corner of
Walker Rd. and Canyon Rd. in Beaverton. They specialize
in used Jaguars and have 97 octane gas around
because the Jags need it. If you ask nice, they'll
sell you some. $1.29/gal (Union 76 LP 92 oct is $1.21-1.25/gal).
They'll also try to sell you a Jag (they've got some nice
ones including a 62 Mark II that they're restoring...)
