We have been running MIZAR\s port of vxWorks on IS68225 cards and have just tried to switch to vxWorks 5.0. Mizar promised this would be painless but now we have discovered that the boot prom on these cards is too small and that MIZAR haven't got a board support package after all. ! I converted the old BSP we had myself, no tall that many changes required, and did actually manage to boot the target, but then I discovered that the support for the ethernet card we run had disappeared from vxworks. I think what I need is the driver called nwattach, and it should be in lib/netif.a in a file if_nw.a Alternatively does anybody know if the interface to xxattach has changed from vx 4.. to vx 5.0, because if it hasn't I could probably use the old one. Then I would need the interrupt vector to be used. Excelan is 192. I would really like some help from MIZAR, but from previous experience I am not to hopefull -- Trygg A. Eliassen BSc.
