I want something to (routinely) pull out Have you checked with your friendly system guru manager for UNIX commands? I use the UNIX GREP command on our vax to search large (> 1meg) files and locate the line number. I then generate a temporary file containing the large file and delete everything upto that line number and everything after the last line of the reference. I then download to my MAC and edit for my bibliography. This is combersome but relatively fast. If anyone has anything better, I would appreciate hearing about it. /==========*===========*===========*===========*===========*=========*========| | ___ | | /| /| | | / | mlwillia@apgea.army.mil | | / | / | | |/ |__ Chemical Research Development and | | / | / | | | \ | Engineering Center | | / | / | | | \ |___ Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD USA | | | |==========*===========*===========*===========*===========*=========*========|
