The current issue of AUTOWEEK (june 13th) has a very informative article about Police Radar and its misuse. Due to the lenght of the article, I will not repeat it here, but rather suffice to say that you should read it if you ever drive where radar is used. The article is an interview with a lawyer who specializes in beating radar speeding tickets. He does not promote exceeding the speed limit, he merely points out many lines of defense for use in traffic court. Police radar is very often WRONG. And the only thing worse than getting a ticket for doing 80 in a 55, is getting a ticket for 80 when you were really only going 55. Watch out for speeding trees, 70mph fan belts, and 100mph radio stations. Keven Boyett tektronix!tekid!kevenb
