[comp.sys.isis] New archiving scheme

ken@gvax.cs.cornell.edu (Ken Birman) (11/21/89)

To save space, comp.sys.isis is now archived as follows:
	50 postings at a time are compressed, then put in a TAR file
	The TAR file is copied to cu-arpa.cs.cornell.edu
To obtain back postings:
	FTP to cu-arpa.cs.cornell.edu, anonymous login
	binary mode
	get comp.sys.isis/<name>.TAR
	tar xf <name>.TAR
	uncompress #.Z
	more #.Z
where
	name = 1-49.TAR 50-99.TAR 100-149.TAR

KB> 	   more #.Z

I guess you wanted to write:	"more #" on the last line (the .Z
suffix has been removed by uncompress)
