A few people have sent mail explaining why this might be happening. So far, we've heard of postings being lost from someone in Norway and from SAIC in San Diego... here are the two most useful replies I got: Comment 1: >There could be dozens of reasons - I had this happening when (I'm an NNTP >site) nntpxfer was not being run to send mail to the next site. Incoming >was fine, outgoing no go. You'd need to contact the system administrator. You might mention to people that there >are news "forwarding" accounts to which mail can be sent -- for example, >I send via one at Berkeley. Your system administrator should have a list >and a man page explaining how to post news in this manner.
