We`ve had several requests for better documentation and I have decided to spend a bit of time extending the manual. My current plans are to include chapters on: Architecture of large-scale ISIS applications ISIS utilities and how to fit them into your planning Designing for high performance Building services to span long-haul network links The META system and how to use it. In addition, of course, we will make a pass over the current manual and man pages fixing errors and documenting V2.0 extensions to the system. The missing performance appendix will be filled in. I have already rewriten the section on setting up ISIS. This will all take a while, and writing a bit more won't slow it down much. So, here's your chance to influence what we write! There are also some papers in the works that should help shed light on some of these issues. I am unsure that we can afford to mail them, though: our mailing list is now so long that it costs nearly $3000 to send a typical technical report out. We are thinking about how to deal with this problem. Anyhow, please email your wish list (gee, it would be a lot easier to figure out if we can use ISIS if you could only do an example of a...) I'll try and address your concerns. KeN
