The compressed TAR image is now on cu-arpa.cs.cornell.edu for anonymous FTP and is being copied to UUNET this very moment. My secretary is now able to make tapes (8", cassette, or Sparc diskettes). Sorry about the delays. The distribution has 3 major parts: 1) isisv2.0 -- the latest and best version of ISIS 2) metav1.2b -- a version of Meta 1.2 that runs under isis2.0 3) magicv1.0 -- a graphical monitoring/control system for meta The Magic Lantern system is by Robbert Van Renesse. It may be a bit hard to figure out but is worth it. The system is very slick and makes it easy to build a remarkably powerful control environment. The new spreadsheet demo is also worth running. Everything is believed to work on and between everything. We will, as usual, fix bugs. I hope the system proves to be valuable and useful, and look forward to feedback. Ken Birman
