In bringing up isis here in Bologna, I noticed that if you follow the instructions for bringing up magicv1.0 (Robbert Van Renesse's graphical demo) some problems arise. I have reported these to Robbert who will post such additional information as is needed to actually build the system completely and start the demos running. Sorry if this inconveniences anyone. (isisv2.0 and metav1.2b seem fine, although the "spreadsheet" demo was accidently left off the tape). Also note that the ISIS libraries have been renamed for compatibility with UNIX conventions. (The old names are available too.) For European users of ISIS: we have asked the people in Amsterdam if they could pull over the V2.0 tar images from UUNET. Hopefully they have space and will do so shortly.
