I got email from motcsd!greek!lance@apple.com (a return address that doesn't work) asking if we ha ve any experience with ISIS under "System V.3". ISIS does run under System V.4, more or less by definition, but we think the port to a straight streams environment would be a bit too much effort to be worth the time. On many of these sorts of ports, though, we will be willing to work with groups out there that have the resources but don't know quite what to do and in what order. For example, we'll probably do a port to DYNIX (Sequent) sometime this fall with a user, once the person in question finds a week to spend on it. As an aside, we find it helpful if people whose email is via a complex uunet pathway could explicitly include the reply address to use at the bottom of their message. uucp often computes these incorrectly, and then we can't reply. If you send an inquiry and don't get an immediate reply, assume something went wrong. We are in the habit of responding promptly to EVERY query. Ken
