Sun 4's, SunOS 4.1, Isis 2.1, Meta 1.3. Meta compiles fine and table and machine seem to run ok. When I try the other initialization steps (Section 7) things go awry. The loadsdf and loadcif scripts hang in the first tutil command, although they seem to run the tutil command ok (I think tutil ends up in the isis_accept_events_loop and never exits). So, I run all 3 tutil commands by hand (tutil destroy, load_attr, load_tuples) for both sdf and cif tables. Sometimes I can then run tutil commands interactively ok; other times not (e.g. tutil info sdf). When I try the example program in Appendix C it blows up or hangs. I think I must be doing some obvious thing wrong but just can't see it.
