Wrong, the Mustang GT is a totaly different car than a stock Mustang. The handling is miles better and the Quality is a lot better. I had an 81 base Mustang and it did rattle alot ( mainly the dash), but the 83 GT this and many other little problems were fixed. I looked at the Supra but noway does it match the 83 Mustang GT when you look at the price. Speaking of handling look at the Mustang vs Z28 in, I think Car and Driver, and look at the 25 mile road course results, and you will see that despite the Mustang loosing in almost every measurement of performance (0 to 60,G-force,Slalom,1/4 mile) there was no difference in the 25 mile road course times.
