Placing UNMANNED radar detectors along the highways to slow traffic when many people are carrying radar detectors was tried some years back; the FCC heard of it and came down hard. Unmanned transmitters are permitted in very few circumstances; satellites are one such situation. Tricking radar detectors is NOT and the Federal govt. would severly reprimand or penalize any local law enforcement agency that deliberately violated the FCC codes. Mark Terribile Duke of deNet
