[bionet.software] Software for Organic Chemistry on IBM/PC

mm@cloud9.Stratus.COM (Mike Mahler) (09/08/89)

Does anyone have any software for manipulating (or just drawing)
organic compounds on an IBM/PC? (For organic chemistry class)...

    Thanks,

    Michael

There is a shareware program for constructing molecular models on a PC system
equipped with EGA or VGA graphics. This program is available for a small fee
from: Larry Puhl
       6 Plum Ct.
       Sleepy Hollow, IL 60118

Mr. Puhl requests a payment of $20 for the package. I am not connected with
his business in any way -- I am simply a satisfied user.

You might like to try CHIWRITER which is a scientific wordprocesser
wich allows you to do fancy things besides chemical symbols... like
integration signs and mathematical formula... and if you want to write
in Russian then it has a cyrillic keyboard driver as well.
