The building housing the machine running the UH server has lost its air conditioning and the machine has been shut down. All functions of the server, software, genbank and pir entry retrieval, access to the Roberts restriction enzyme lists, Bio-matrix and Molecular-Evolution archives are all unavailable. The pir-search function is still working, but the help message will not be available. As soon as uhnix2 is up and running I will post a note. Also, be aware that the server will shut down for a week or two later this summer for transfer to new computer. dan davison
