> This is the first I've heard of "AuthorIn for the Mac" can someone please > tell me what it is? Thanks. It is software developed by GenBank at IntelliGenetics for preparing sequence data for submission to the DNA/protein sequence data banks. It assists scientists in annotating, error-checking, and submitting their data. It also helps the data base staff get the data into the database more readily with much less manual intervention. The program is available free of charge and comes with a manual. A version for the IBM PC is also available. To obtain a copy, send your regular mailing address to authorin@genbank.bio.net and tell us what version you require. -- Sincerely, Dave Kristofferson GenBank Manager kristoff@genbank.bio.net
