These server machines do have some files to uudecode and also you can try EMBL server (but the uudecode files from EMBL did NOT work at our VM mainframe. I think the problem was in our VM rather than the EMBL files..) Also you can send a mail to RED-UG list which is devoted to pc users. I still can not use UUdecode programs due to some pc- problems here.. anyway, this is a problem that many novice netters confront (like me,), so i post this message to the list.
