Fellow Netters: I'm looking for a general purpose plotting package that can do contouring, 3-d surfaces, line plots, histograms, etc. - with reasonable ease and cost. Preferably with mouse/window "point and click" capability. The new UNIGRAPH package from UNIRAS actually has the these features but the price is steep, $1500. Does anyone know if there's any other packages like this that don't cost an arm and a leg? So long, farewell. ******************************************************************** Douglas Prasher * prasher@hyatt.whoi.edu Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution * 508-457-2000 ext 2311 Biology Department * FAX: 508-457-2195 Woods Hole, MA 02543 * ********************************************************************

Must it run on a Unix box? SigmaPlot on a PC will do most everything that you seem to be looking for, and the cost is about $400-500. Perhaps they are porting it to the unix environment? rdkeys@ccvr1.cc.ncsu.edu :wq .

There are two programs that we use here. One is SASGRAPH part of the SAS package. The other is SIGMAPLOT from Jandell (about $400). Hope this helps.
