[sci.edu] Looking for software like "Phaser", but want it to run under X.

I'm looking for a software package similar to Phaser, a program for 
the IBM PC which plots solutions to differential equations, for use
in an introductary differential equations course.  My problem is that
I'll have access to huge numbers of X terms, and very small numbers of
IBM PC's.  Does anyone no of a similar package that will run under X?
