ACTIVISM-Reproductive Choice: NYS-NARAL Lobby Day: Albany Legislators 5/14 NYS-NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League) is coordinating an effort to lobby state legislators in Albany, NY, on Tuesday, May 14, 1991, in favor of reproductive choice, maintaining legal abortion, etc. I don't think you have to be a NARAL member to attend (you didn't last year). Buses leave various locations in New York State. There is a $20.00 transportation fee, but I think it's free if you provide your own transportation. NARAL will hold Training Sessions for those attending on recent issues and to provide profiles of legislators' positions on various abortion-related issues. These sessions are optional, unless you plan to be a group spokesperson. Please contact your nearest NARAL office (212-724-5770 or 518-465-3076).
