The Office of Technology Assessment in Washington, D.C. is seeking applicants for an 8-10 month interim position to study miniaturization technologies. This includes "top-down" technologies like lithographic techniques, as well as "bottom-up" techniques such as STM-manipulation, bioengineering, and synthetic chemistry. My impression is that they are looking for recent doctorates in physics and engineering, although I'm sure they would consider a master's with relevant experience. This is all the info I have.
