[sci.nanotech] NT Grad Studies

73337.2723@compuserve.com (Brian Wowk) (09/29/90)

NT related physics work. He is looking for a position as a graduate
student, and is particularly interested in microfabrication technology
(micro-scale gears, motors, etc.).

Can anybody out there suggest any schools and/or who to contact?

KPURCELL@liverpool.ac.uk (Kevin Purcell) (10/26/90)

How about doing STM often under the guise of Surface Science. We are
awaiting delivery of an STM here (though not directly for SS).

Check out any of the BIG names in the STM conference proceedings, published
in the Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology (JVST).

Ones that spring to mind are: Hansama (sp?) at Stanford, or the guys at
IBM Almaden or Bell Labs (they have the money!).
