You will have noticed that there was a kind of backlog of messages recently, which was due to my having been away for a couple of weeks. I'll be away again for most of the month of November (in Australia! any readers in Sydney, Adelaide, or Melbourne drop me a line!) so save Update 8 and read it slowly... I may as well take this opportunity to re-announce that nanotech archives, as well as related papers and all the Updates, can be found on the nanotech directory when you FTP to planchet.rutgers.edu using the standard anonymous login. --JoSH
