_NanoCon Proceedings to go into Second Printing_

_NanoCon_, the world's first convention specificially focussed
on the subject of nanotechnology, was held February 17-19, 1989, at
the University Plaza Hotel in Seattle, Washington. The NanoCon
Guest of Honor and featured speaker was K. Eric Drexler, well known
author of the visionary book on nanotechnology _Engines of Creation_.
The other NanoCon Special Guests, a mix of molecular biologists,
artificial intelligence and hypertext experts, physicists, and SF
writers and futurists, were (alphabetically): Greg Bear, Gregory
Benford, John Cramer, Vonda McIntyre, G. Louis Roberts, Bruce
Robinson, Nadrian Seeman, Marc Steigler, and Mike Thomas. Computer
generalist John L. Quel and microbiologist James Lewis served as
the NanoCon Chair and Vice-chair.

The NanoCon Conference Proceedings, 135 pages of talks, panel
discussions, illustrations, and scientific papers, was sold out very
soon after its publication and has been out of print for some time.
Now, because of many recent inquiries, the NanoCon organizers have
decided to have a second printing of the NanoCon Proceedings. The
price until March 31, 1991, will be $20.00 (US) for individuals and
$50.00 (US) for libraries. After March 31, 1991, the prices become
$25.00 (US) for individuals and $60.00 (US) for libraries. Copies
will be shipped postpaid anywhere in the world and can be ordered
from:
