[sci.nanotech] diamond bones and kevlar skulls

As has been brought up on nanotech before, kevlar skulls are
only part of what's needed. To protect the brain itself from
the damage of an impact you need a way of slowing its
decceleration gradually. In current motorcycle helmets this is
done with about a one inch layer of crushable Expanded
Polystyrene. With nanotech one could perform all sorts of
miracles within the cerebral fluid itself. The point being you
need to protect brain tissue from the effects of decceleration
in addition to intrusion.
