The following announcement came my way. Please send any inquiries to
the address at the bottom of the announcement.

    International Workshop
MOLECULAR CONTROL OF FLOWER DEVELOPMENT & PLANT REPRODUCTION
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 12-16 April 1992

The objective of the workshop is to evaluate our current understanding
of the molecular mechanisms governing flower development and plant
    reproduction.

    Organizing Committee
Joseph Mol (chairman), Ed Veltkamp (treasurer), Ronald Koes (secretary-
general), Jan Kooter, Arjen van Tunen

    Key Topics
Flower Initiation, Flower Morphology, Flower Pigmentation, Gametophyte
    Development, Self-incompatibility, Male/Female Sterility, Fruit/Seed
Development, Flower Senesence, Molecular Flower Breeding.

    Principal Speakers
    G. Bernier (Liege), J. Bedrock (Oakland), A. Clarke (Parkville),
    E. Coen (Norwich), R. Goldberg (Los Angeles), D. Grierson (Nottingham),
    C. Martin (Norwich), J. Mascarenhas (Albany), E. Meyerowitz (Pasadena),
    H. Saedler (Cologne), Sz. Schartz-Sommer (Cologne), K. Tran Thanh Van
(Gif sur Ivette), W. Woodson (W. Lafayette).

The field of reproductive (molecular) biology is rapidly evolving. The
workshop will address the most recent developments in the respective
research fields. In order to ensure maximum exchange and an
interactive atmosphere, the number of participants will be restricted
to around 250. Those who are seriously interested to attend the
workshop should notify the organizing committee by August 1, 1991.

    Applicants will receive a full registration package + abstract forms;
registration will take place in the order of receipt of the
